I chose the colors myself, no additional prompts!
stamp set - Guy Greetings; ink - Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Early Espresso; card stock - Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla
I created my own stencil for the triangles, which are sponged in Crumb Cake. I started with the smallest one, and cut it a little larger for each of the next two. I was trying for 1/8" mats but the vanilla piece wasn't cut right, so it's a bit smaller than intended; I like it anyway, so let's just say "I meant to do that" ;)
You should definitely go to the Watercooler right now, if you haven't already, and check out the design team's cards, because they are always inspiring. And then, you could make a card, too, and link up - the more the merrier, as they say!
Congrats Kath on being the guest designer this week on Watercooler Wednesday. Your card is amazing in it's simplicity and clean and simple lines. What a perfect sketch you chose to go along with the masculine challenge. Love it!
ReplyDeleteNo surprise to me that you're our newest Guest Designer, Kath! Your cards always 'wow', and this one is no different. You nailed CAS, that's for sure. I really like the sketch that you used, as well. (gotta stash that one in the memory bank). Welcome aboard the Watercooler Wednesday crew :)
ReplyDeleteOh, what a fabulous masculine card! Great take on the sketch!
