catalog CASE color challenge adventures

Are you looking for card ideas?  I looked in the Stampin' Up!® 2013-2014 catalog and found several that I wanted to try.  There's a mostly white one on page 16 that uses a stamp set I don't own, but I knew it would work with one I do own.  Instead of white, I thought I could use the summery, bright color combination at Color Throwdown this week (I changed a couple of shades to use current colors but it's really the same palette):

stamp sets - Express Yourself (hostess), Four Frames; ink - Pacific Point; card stock - Crumb Cake, Pacific Point; designer series paper - Quatrefancy, In Color stack (retired); punches - Decorative Label, Full Heart Itty Bitty Shapes; accessories - Big Shot with Chevron embossing folder, Stampin' Dimensionals, Basic Jewels Rhinestone, Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz 

I found another mostly white one that I like on page 64.  I do have the Serene Silhouette stamp they used, but I wanted to use only the two soft & subtle Dynamic Duo colors, and I didn't want Pistachio Pudding flowers or Blushing Bride stems, so I opted for the 2-step stamps in Summer Silhouettes:
