Fall-i-days Hop Adventure

Have you received your Holiday Seasonal catalog?  Don't you ♥love♥ everything?  I do, and so do  my llama friends, so we've set up another hop to share some great ideas.  And we're planning one each month for September, October, and November because there are so many great ideas!  I'm hoping you're hopping from Jackie's blog, but if not, you can follow all the links around, and you'll get there.  You won't want to miss her projects!  Or you can start from our home page.

By the way, isn't this month's title incredibly clever?  It just makes me smile. (No, I didn't think of it.)  You can ask my BFF, AJ - I'm best at encouragement or enthusiasm for others who provide the ideas.

As a matter of fact, that's how I came up with my projects -  from other people's great ideas.  First, I used a color prompt from Less is More for Blue & Green with a sketch from Stamping 411, to showcase the new Festival of Prints designer series paper from the Holiday catalog:
stamp set - You're Amazing; Stampin' Write markers - Lucky Limeade, Not Quite Navy; card stock - Lucky Limeade, Very Vanilla; designer series paper - Festival of Prints; punch - 1-1/4" square; Big Shot with Apothecary Accents Framelit™; 1/8" mini brads

I really love this paper stack!  It includes 48 sheets (4 each of 12 double-sided designs) in a 4-1/2"x6-1/2" size - perfect for photo mats or card designs.  Some of the designs are quite Christmas-y but of course, they're more versatile than that - I'm thinking of this as a note of encouragement for a back-to-school student (or teacher), so I'll be linking it up Paper Players for their "Back to School RULES" theme challenge.
Then I was inspired by the new Autumn Accents Bigz die and the "Faux Suede" technique to make a general fall card.  Because the "Faux Suede" technique involves separating the layers of card stock, I had other halves of leaves left over, and thought they needed a home.  I remembered Amanda Corbet's fabulous tutorial for making a Mini Milk Carton into a bird house that opens & closes - a perfect home!
stamp sets - Language of Kindness, Mixed Medley (hostess); ink - Island Indigo, Early Espresso, Riding Hood Red; card stock - Early Espresso, More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Riding Hood Red, Island Indigo, Window Sheet; specialty designer series paper - Natural Composition; punches - Bird Builder, 1" Circle, 3/4" Circle, 1-14" Scallop Circle, Scallop Border; Big Shot with Autumn Accents and Mini Milk Carton dies and Woodgrain Textured Impressions™ embossing folder; Early Espresso Bakers Twine, Stampin' Dimensionals, stamping sponges

I hope I've encouraged you to contact your demonstrator today to purchase some of the great new products from the Holiday catalog!  But don't go before you've hopped along to Joanne's Much a-Do About Stamping - she made me very happy that Stampin' Up!® gave me that fun Storytime designer series paper as a "first-timer" convention gift.  I especially ♥love♥ her bookmark card!
