remake adventure

At Less is More this week we're making one-layer cards using a flourish.  I thought I'd fill a masked frame with a floral-type flourish and add butterflies from the new Papillon Potpourri stamp set:
stamp sets - Papillon Potpourri, Creative Elements, Curly Cute; ink - More Mustard, Certainly Celery, Old Olive; card stock - So Saffron; Stampin' Emboss powder - clear
I wanted the flourish to be the background, so I used the subtle Certainly Celery, then added the butterflies in Daffodil Delight.  I didn't love it, but it was stamped. I couldn't decide whether to stamp the sentiment in Wild Wasabi or Old Olive, so I got out my Color Coach to see which was the dynamic duo for Celery.  Then <doh> it occurred to me to check the dynamic duo for So Saffron - More Mustard.  About then I also decided that the butterflies should have been embossed, so I remade it.  Unfortunately I pressed too hard with the smaller butterfly (hence the stray schmear above its left wing), but I couldn't bring myself to remake it again.  It just needs a little punched flower embellishment.  Or, maybe, I should mask the butterflies before stamping the flourishes...

Since I had a full card base folded and set aside that needed at least one layer to cover the first craftastrophe, I decided my submission for Create with Connie and Mary's CCMC205 Sketch Challenge would be So Saffron:
stamp set - Delightful Dozen; ink - Tangerine Tango; card stock - Whisper White, Lucky Limeade, Tangerine Tango, So Saffron; designer series paper - Floral District; punches - 1-1/4" circle, 1-3/4" scallop circle; Big Shot with Adorning Accents folder and edgelit; Stampin' Dimensionals, Whisper White 1/4" stitched grosgrain ribbon
I think my layer is a little longer on the left side than the sketch, but I had to cover those flourishes...

I always get cross too when I don't check the very edge of a stamp for stray ink... your design is super though Kathe and I love the delicate flowery flourishes!
Thanks so much
