adventure with one sketch, two ways

I loved the Sketch Saturday design this week and adapted Darnell's twofer concept to make cards for two completely different occasions:

On this card, I incorporated the wood trend for Just Us Girls:
stamp set - A Little Wild; ink - Early Espresso; card stock - So Saffron, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Mango Melody; designer series paper - Wood Textures; Big Shot with Little Loves framelits

Because we live in a log home and keep bees, this is one of my most favorite cards :-)

stamp set - Cooke Cutter Christmas; ink - Soft Suede, Real Red; card stock - Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Old Olive, Silver Foil; designer series paper - Under the Mistletoe; punch - Cookie Cutter Builder; Big Shot with Stitched Shapes framelits

I thought I was clever, using the oval as a cookie sheet stand-in; and it is more faithful to the sketch:

Isn't it fun to see how different cards can look when using the same sketch and created by the same individual....way to go!! Thanks for joining us at Sketch Saturday!! We are so glad you played along.

A duo of cuteness, indeed! Your first, with the bear and wood, is absolutely adorable...such a clever way to incorporate wood in to the challenge! And you live in a log house and keep bees....oh my! Awesome! Thrilled to see this gem in the Just Us Girls gallery!
