adventures of Christmas past and Christmas present

Last year I showed you (almost) all the Christmas cards I made.  Here are the cards I will be mailing this present Christmas:

I've been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator since 2009 and since then I've made the cards I send or give to people, primarily using Stampin' Up! supplies.  Prior to that, I made cards on and off when I felt ambitious - it was so much harder when I had to spend time finding and/or deciding what did and didn't match well enough!  In Christmas past, I sent cards that I purchased at after-Christmas sales.

Today I was preparing a package that needed a note and I thought I could use a piece of stationery, especially if I could find some with a holiday theme.  Look at what I found, tucked under the side of my desk, behind a box of papers I can't decide where to file.
Sorry about the glare.  Note that the angel, kitten and Dickens designs are multiples, two or three boxes of each.  In fairness (only to myself), the silver gift-shaped set is an incomplete one that my daughter purchased and left with me.  I'm going to send them, as well as the kittens, to her, and I will be taking the three sets from the right side to the thrift store today.  I can't say for certain that I will or won't find a use for the ones I'm keeping, but I'm not ready to let them go.

It's quite possible (even entirely probable) that the large set at the back was purchased primarily for the tin, from which it has now been liberated.  I haven't had the motivation to decorate my Christmas tree yet, and who knows if there will be wrapped gifts under it before the 25th, so currently I'm displaying my collection of Christmas tins there, and the big one is a great addition.
