adventures of an unpleasant nature

Currently we have three friends battling cancer, so I ordered a new stamp set last month and finally made time to create some encouragement cards.  We all know that pink is the "official" color for breast cancer, but I knew there were other colors for other types of cancer, I just didn't know what they are until I found them by searching the internet.

For the friend with ovarian cancer (teal), I used last week's Sketch Saturday design and created my own background for Tuesday Throwdown:
stamp set - Ribbon of Courage; ink - Soft Sky, Tranquil Tide; card stock - Soft Sky, Tranquil Tide; ribbon - 1/2" finely woven Tranquil Tide

For the friend with liver cancer (emerald) I CASEd (Copy And Share Everything) the design from the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog:
stamp set - Ribbon of Courage; ink - Emerald Envy (retired); card stock - Emerald Envy (retired), Whisper White, Gold Fancy Foil vellum (retired); gold sequin trim (retired)

And for the friend with esophageal cancer (periwinkle, but judging by the white, the color balance in this photo is a bit off!) and CASEd the design from the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog:
stamp set - Ribbon of Courage; ink - Almost Amethyst (retired); card stock - Almost Amethyst (retired); doily (retired)
