quick sketch and color adventures

Last week, I was working on a party for a customer who requested vellum for the make-and-take projects, and I found a sketch at As You See It that I think worked really well:
stamp set - Waterfront; ink - Crushed Curry, Pool Party, Soft Suede, Wild Wasabi; card stock - Whisper White, Wild Wasabi, Pool Party, Vellum; Big Shot with Layering Circles framelits and Woodland embossing folder

While I was working on the other projects for the party, my most recent order arrived with new products that I didn't have time to play with until today, and it seemed perfect for the closing-in-minutes Color Throwdown challenge:

stamp set - Blossoming Basket; ink - Powder Pink, Smoky Slate; Stampin' Write markers - Crumb Cake, Powder Pink, Smoky Slate; blender pen; card stock - Whisper White, Powder Pink, Smoky Slate; Big Shot with Basket Weave dynamic embossing folder and Layering Circles framelits

Wow, the way you embossed the vellum makes for a marvelous vertical panel for your serene scene! Love that technique! Thanks for sharing this with us at As You See It!

Not only is the embossed vellum a unique take on the sketch's vertical element, but it's also the perfect embossing folder to use with that Waterfront stamp set scene! Thanks for sharing this with us at As You See It Challenge!
