mermaid sister sketch adventure

Since I'm working on making 365 cards this year, I thought I may need to increase my mailing list.  I added my cousins and my great nieces and great nephews; I decided to add my grandson's two cousins, too.  They're sisters, three years (maybe two) different in age.  I have a sister two years younger than me, and I remember being, if not competitive, then comparative.  So I was trying to make two cards that are similar (not the same! I hated that, as a kid) without one being obviously more awesome.  If you had a sibling, maybe you know what I mean?

I used sketches from Try Stampin' on Tuesday and Fusion Card Challenge.  I was also inspired, in my own slightly twisted way, by the theme at Fusion.  I don't much like rainy days, but I thought they'd be better if I were a mermaid :)

both your cards are cute. I like your take on the fusion rain theme. I love mermaids better then rain too. Thanks for using the sketch at TSOT!

Love these little mermaids - I think this is my fave sheet from this pack, lol. That touch of embossing is perfect! Thanks so much for playing at TSOT!
