One might expect that, since I make Christmas cards all year, and I was able to retire from my full-time job in the middle of the year, I'd have all my Christmas cards made in time for mailing without resorting to mass production. hah! I knew by September that wouldn't work out, so I purchased the Watercolor Christmas project kit as "insurance" and pinned Rachel Tessman's ideas for doubling the number of cards. I left out one of her designs, so made 35 instead of 40, and made a few other small changes:
stamp sets - Christmas Pines, Watercolor Christmas; ink - Basic Black, Emerald Envy, Real Red; card stock - as provided in project kit, plus Emerald Envy, Pool Party, Real Red, Whisper White thick; embellishments - as provided in project kit
I just have to decorate 20 more envelopes, then sign and address all of them. (whooowh) Oh, and I noticed while spreading them out that one is missing an inside - now which one was that?
I am really, really, hoping to stay on track in 2018 and have them all ready, no mass production needed, by mid-December. I hope to see all of you, at Jingle Belles and the other fun challenge sites, throughout the year.
