I pin a lot of Buffy's cards, and I've had another card of hers pinned since last week. I love everything about her card, but I decided to try it in green. First, because most of my Christmas cards so far this year have been red, and also because I have some new designer series paper that I've barely cut into:
stamp set - Merry Patterns (hostess); ink - Basic Black Archival, Old Olive, So Saffron; card stock - Old Olive, Whisper White; designer series paper - Merry Little Christmas (what? no Big Shot!)
Really, I love everything about Buffy's card, and I have that designer series paper, too. I just ordered it a couple of weeks ago, using points I earned as a demonstrator (that means it was free!), so I made another:
stamp set - Merry Patterns (hostess); ink - Always Artichoke, Basic Black Archival, Crushed Curry, Island Indigo; card stock - Island Indigo, Pool Party, Whisper White; designer series paper - Christmas Around the World (again, no Big Shot)
While I was working on that one, I decided to just suck it up and break out the pinks (I hate pink) for Pink Christmas,,,for the Cure at Jingle Belles:
stamp set - Marbled, Merry Patterns (hostess); ink - Basic Black Archival, Blushing Bride, Old Olive, Powder Pink, So Saffron; Stampin' Write marker - Blushing Bride; card stock - Blushing Bride, Powder Pink, Whisper White (no designer series paper and still, no Big Shot)
Three cards in a row, in one day, and no Big Shot for die cuts or texture may be a record for me. I may have to have a lie down...
So glad you *sucked it up* and broke out the pinks (although I really love it in all three colors) ... thanks for joining our ♥ Pink Christmas for the Cure! ♥ at Jingle Belles.
ReplyDeletefor someone who doesn't like pink... you sure did make an AWESOME Pink Xmas card missus! thanks for joining our JINGLE BELLES fun for an awesome cause! ♥♥♥
