Today I was working on a chalkboard technique card for Merry Monday, featuring text for Jingle Belles, because text and chalkboard just belong together, don't they? The dog, who is also old, got up, meaning it was time to let her out, and while I was upstairs, the laundry needed to be folded, the breakfast dishes had to be dealt with and the dishwasher needed to be emptied. Suddenly I remembered that it's half an hour till the Merry Monday link-up closes, so this card is fairly simple:
stamp set - Merry Little Christmas (retired); ink - Versamark, Whisper White craft; card stock - Basic Black, Whisper White, Cucumber Crush, Winter Wonderland designer vellum (retired)
Since chalkboard technique includes embossing, I'd like to link up at Holly Jolly Christmas, too. But since I know I won't have enough Christmas cards by making one for every three challenges, I'm hoping to have another (or two) later this week.
What a fantastic chalkboard technique ... so very glad you got TEXT-y with us at Jingle Belles.
