plaid adventure

In 2014, I didn't have enough Christmas cards to mail to everyone.  It was a bit of a rough year, and I knew my friends would be understanding, so I just didn't mail cards to everyone we love.  Last year I did a better job of keeping up and had nearly enough at the beginning of December, just had to do a couple of binge-crafting sessions.  This year I would like to really keep up, because I love keeping Christmas in my heart all year.  One thing that will help me would be making at least one card every week, and there are wonderful challenges that encourage exactly that.  I'm sure you know by now that Jingle Belles is one of my favorites; another is Merry Monday.  I've combined both prompts this week - Jingle Belles' Oh Christmas Tree and Merry Monday #187 Plaid - with Freshly Made Sketch #219:
stamp set - Christmas Bliss; ink - Mossy Meadow, Old Olive; card stock - Whisper White, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive Gold Glimmer; designer series paper - Merry Moments; punch - Itty Bitty Accents
I made the effort to use current products, too - the stamp set is a photopolymer set not shown in the catalogs but available while supplies last; everything else can be found in the annual catalog.  So far, I have three completed cards; that's a great start for me, since January is my busiest time at work and least productive at home.  If I can keep up at home in January, I should be able to keep up all year, other than travel weeks.

A couple of years ago I managed to do a Christmas card a week and it made the Christmas season so much more relaxed. I could mail special cards to my friends and family without stressing over getting more done! I hope you are able to stick to your goal! LOVE your mix of patterns and images! Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
