four-letter word adventure

When I first saw MtS 105 at Match the Sketch, the four blocks looked like numbers to me (as in 2-0-1-6) - a lot of people saw that, but I didn't need a New Year card.  Suddenly it popped into my head that the four blocks could be letters, and l-o-v-e would fit perfectly. Sunday Stamps posted a sweet Valentine color combination, so they came together like this:

stamp sets - Morning Post (retired); I Love Lace (retired); ink - Crumb Cake, Rose Red; card stock - Whisper White, Blushing Bride, Crumb Cake; punch - Postage Stamp (retired); Big Shot with Pretty Print embossing folder (retired) and Hello You thinlits

When I was fairly new at demonstrating Stampin' Up!® products, I thought I needed an alphabet stamp set.  It was a fun set but I didn't use it much.  Then it retired, and when this set was introduced I loved it and thought it would be much more versatile than the previous set, so I bought it.  Then it retired, and I bought another set that I thought would be much more versatile.  sigh.  I did learn from the error of my ways, and have not bought another set since, but I had to *mount* half of this set to use it!  While I was pulling out retired products, I decided to go all out - besides the ink and card stock, the only other current item is the die.
