Home for Christmas adventures

Thanksgiving dinner was lovely (thanks, Sandy!) and after the traditional football game (which the Lions non-traditionally won!) I headed into my crafting space and counted up Christmas cards and recipients.  I seem to be about 20 short, so it was time to really cut into that Home For Christmas designer series paper pack and stop hoarding it for myself.  This one started with the Sweet Sunday Sketch; while I was cutting the poinsettia and considering the other elements I realized that I was playing with the Just Us Girls color challenge as well, but since that challenge closes in less than half an hour, I kind of had to hurry:
stamp set - Festive Fireside; ink - Real Red, Mossy Meadow; card stock - Very Vanilla, Mossy Meadow, Gold Glimmer; designer series paper - Home for Christmas; punch - 7/8" scallop circle; Big Shot with Circles Collection framelits; 3/8" Gold Glitter ribbon

The card I made first didn't use any current challenge components but it was quick, and will work for anything goes at Christmas Card Challenges:
stamp set - Cozy Christmas; ink - Real Red; card stock - Very Vanilla, Mint Macaron, Real Red; designer series paper - Home for Christmas; Big Shot with Deco Labels framelits

I really really like this designer series paper - in order to give myself a nudge to cut it & share it, I bought a second package that I may just keep and admire :)
