autumn leaf adventures

Seriously, I haven't posted in over two weeks?  I don't know how time gets away from me like that.  I've made several cards since then, but I only have four to share today.  First, I gave away one of my favorite recently made cards, so I decided to remake it.  I changed several things, starting with the colors, which are from Fab Friday.  Then I used the stamped & cut window technique from House of Cards:
stamp sets - A Dozen Thoughts, Serene Silhouettes, Hardwood; ink - Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Craze; card stock - Hello Honey, Very Vanilla, Cajun Craze, Blackberry Bliss; Big Shot with Leaflets and Project Life Cards & Labels framelits

It took me two tries to get the hardwood stamped & cut window layer the way I liked it, so I had two leaves leftover when I was done.  I combined them with the embossed & cut window I had leftover from another project, after I changed my mind about the window size:
stamp sets - Vintage Leaves, Trust God; ink - Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze; card stock - Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake; Big Shot with Leaflets and Project Life Cards & Labels framelits and Woodland textured impressions embossing folder

After all that autumnal fun, I just couldn't resist one more Christmas card, but I'll type that out in a separate post so you have a chance to check out the challenge links in this one, first.  After you check them out, you should totally play along!

Oh my gosh - what an amazing "window," lol! I would take me SO many more tries than twice, lol. Beautiful card - thanks so much for playing at Fab Friday!

Absolutely yummy! Love the colours you've used and the fact that you used the negative and the waste. Thank you so much for entering our November Challenge. I hope we see you again for the December challenge Karen P (DT House of Cards)

I love the style of your card, and how you used the leaves as your focal point. Hugs, Barbara HOC DT
