Pairing pink, for Jingle Belles for Breast Cancer Awareness/Pink Christmas, with flowers, for Winter Wonderland, was almost a no-brainer. Watercoloring two cards in one week was extra challenging for me, though – my first attempt is on the back, glued-down side, and the world is a happier place for that:
stamp sets - Bells & Boughs, Peaceful Wreath; ink - Black Stazon, Old Olive, Blushing Bride, Always Artichoke; Aquapainter; card stock - Watercolor, Blushing Bride, Very Vanilla, Old Olive; punches - scalloped oval, large oval
This one turned out to be one of my favorites, even in pink. I'm not fond of Old Olive, either, but it really works here, and the Nacho Average Challenge sketch was exactly right! Having found Blushing Bride less distasteful than most shades of pink, I tried one more card - I'll post that next.
