gift box adventure

Although they're no longer labeled as Idea Books, there are still many fantastic designs in the Stampin' Up!® catalogs suitable for CASEing, and the CASE-ing the Catty challenge blog has been encouraging us to do just that.  Recently they've moved from the annual to the holiday catalog, and most recently they suggested we look at gift boxes & bags.  Well,  of course the holiday catalog is chock full of boxes and bags, but I evidently didn't read the challenge quite carefully enough; I found a great box in the center at the bottom of page 20, but rather than making a gift box of my own, I turned it into a card.  Upon re-reading, I don't really think that's what they're looking for, but I'll share it anyway, and maybe I'll try to convince you that I meant to do that because I don't use many gift boxes or bags...
stamp set - Endless Wishes; ink - Lost Lagoon; card stock - Silver Foil, Pear Pizzazz, Soft Sky, Lost Lagoon; designer series paper - All is Calm; punches - Scalloped Tag Topper 1" Circle 1-3/4" Circle; Big Shot with Bitty Banners framelit and On Point embossing folder; embellishments - 1/8" silver ribbon, Tea Lace doily, All is Calm charm, white Baker's Twine
In addition to changing from a box to a card, I made several substitutions because I didn't have the ribbon or the stamp set used in the sample.  While I was thinking about the ribbon, I thought that the narrow Lost Lagoon card stock strips might stand in, and suddenly the layout looked familiar:

It's not exactly the same, I eliminated the twine/bow element from the bottom and moved the horizontal strip up and the circle down so they overlap, but I think I'll link up there, too, and hope for leniency at both challenges ;)
