Once again, I used a sketch. This one came from Create with Connie & Mary:
My interpretation is pretty literal, although I seem to have left out a layer. My first thought for the sketch was hearts, but I don't really send many valentine cards, so I decided to go another direction. I've been wanting to do some florals in rich colors. The new Twitterpated paper from the Occasions mini catalog is beautiful, but I've had just about enough pastels.
Now that I'm looking again at the inspiration picture from Play Date Cafe, I'm wondering why I didn't put this color scheme to work on a Christmas card...
