You have possibly arrived here from Joanne's Much Ado About Stamping, but if not you can jump back by using the link at the end of this post, or you can hop all the way around and end up at Joanne's blog. You won't want to miss the beautiful cards based on her father's garden and her mother's blanket - they are fabulous!
I used a brand-new stamp set and matching Stampin' Around wheel to make this card. I also used Freshly Made Sketch #39 and the colors (mostly) from colourQ challenge #141:
stamp sets - Betsy's Blossoms, Perfectly Penned; stampin' around wheel - Betsy's Blooms; ink - Night of Navy, Lucky Limeade; card stock - Whisper White, Bashful Blue, Lucky Limeade, Marina Mist; punches - 1/2" circle, 1-3/4" scallop circle, 2-3/8" scallop circle, dotted scallop ribbon border; Stampin' Dimensionals
I'd also like to share with you two more of the cards I made while I was experimenting with the new In Color, Summer Starfruit. I posted earlier this month about the thread at Stampin' Connection (our demonstrator-only forum and gallery), where several people shared some possible combinations. Some also posted samples, from which I CASE*'d this:
stamp sets - Word Play, Pennant Parade; ink - Tangerine Tango, Tempting Turquoise; punches - Pennant Builder, Itty Bitty Shapes; Big Shot with Perfect Polka Dots and Stripes embossing folders, Tasteful Trim die, Labels Collection framelit
This color combination came from one of our new designer series papers, Comfort Cafe:
stamp sets - Itty Bitty Banners, Up, Up, and Away; ink - Summer Starfruit, Elegant Eggplant; card stock - Baja Breeze; designer series paper - Patio Party; Big Shot with Bitty Banners Framelit, Houndstooth folder; Stampin' Dimensionals; Simply Scored
I like the brighter one better, although I'm pretty proud of having used the Simply Scored to pleat the paper, and I'm still partial to those hot-air balloons ;)

These are great, Kathe! I love what you did with each stamp set. These are some that are hardest for me to use, and you gave me great ideas!
I love how you made the strip with the smaller punches from Betsy's Blossoms! It's perfect and looks like real DSP! Thanks for sharing with us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
