I like dessert first, since life is uncertain, so let's talk about the sweet card first. The layout is from the sketch at 'Tis the Season. There's transportation, for Merry Monday. I've used designer series paper and the embossing is Decorative Dots for R, E, or D at Holly Jolly Christmas. The colors - I used the colors of the paper - are the same as the ones at Color Throwdown this week.
stamp set - White Chritsmas; ink - Pear Pizzazz, Smoky Slate, Soft Sky, Lost Lagoon; card stock - Whisper White, Soft Sky; designer series paper - All is Calm; tools - Big Shot with Decorative Dots embossing folder
I think this stamp set makes the sweetest scenes! I wanted to use all of the components, but they didn't all fit, so I put a scene on the envelope, too.I may have mentioned that I need a thinking of you or thank you card for my card buffet tomorrow - the simple card below will work for either (or both). I started with the idea of using the new Merry Everything and Note Tag punch bundle. The Challenge from Always Playing with Paper, once I turned the sketch upside down, seemed like a perfect way to showcase it.

Great job on the sketch this week at Tis the Season. I love the scene you made. Makes it feel just like snow at Christmas. Thanks for playing along with us.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute Christmas card, Kathe. I haven't used this set yet, but I'll be breaking it out as soon as I get a chance. Love your "Merry Christmas" envelope too. Thanks for playing with us at 'Tis the Season.
