a perfectly joyful adventure

We've been home from vacation for two weeks, now, so I've finally gotten caught up reading my favorite stamping and challenge blogs (whew), and I spent this afternoon sorting through the Christmas cards I've made and comparing them to my card list.  Am I short, since I neglected playing along faithfully all year at the fabulous Christmas challenge blogs I've found?  Oh, a little - 3 dozen!  That's a lot of stamping, and fast!

Fortunately, while browsing through challenges, I found this great, simple sketch at Nacho Average Challenge that will work perfectly if I have to resort to "mass production".  It also works perfectly with the colors at Color Throwdown and the holly theme from August at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown (where the current challenge is to pick a previous theme):
stamp set - Joyful Christmas; ink - Gumball Green, Versamark; Stampin' Emboss powder - Silver; card stock - Crumb Cake, Gumball Green, Whisper White
I can cut supplies to make many of these quickly, but this first one was more of a "test" and used pieces of Gumball Green and Whisper White that I had previously cut while making other projects, so I do believe I'm eligible for some time in Pixie's Snippets Playground, too!  Well, if I have time to play at anything other than card-making, anyway.

  9. No matter what I tell myself in the summertime about getting Christmas cards done early, it's always a race to the finish and sometimes they end up being New Years cards! I like your quick-and-easy-to-mass-produce card design here, I'm really going to miss Gumball Green when it retires. Thanks for playing along in the Nacho Average Challenges!
