I don't know how to capture the wobble in a photograph, but the hat is on a small coil I fashioned from some floral wire I had in my jewelry-making stash. It doesn't wobble a lot, I think it would work better on a larger element, but I like it anyway.
I borrowed some small sandbags from my husband and the cement elephant's Santa hat was still in place, as of this morning. I'd go out and get a photo for you, but I'm fighting off a cold/sinus infection/mild case of the flu or something, so I'm pretty inclined to stay warm, inside.
Cute card with that elephant in his Santa hat. Love plaid paper. Thanks for joining us at Merry Monday.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea and your description of the hat on the cement elephant wobbling in the wind was fab. Great use of a home made wobble. thanks for joining us at shopping our stash for the Move it Move it challenge.
ReplyDeleteI think this may be the first Christmas card I've ever seen with an elephant on it...and I LOVE it!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for "movin it" with the crew from SHOPPING OUR STASH this week!
I, too, love elephants, and your card just enhances that love! So crafty of you to have fashioned your own wobbler! Job well done! Thanks for sharing this with Shopping Our Stash last week.
