stars & stripes & spots adventure

When I need a card quickly I frequently pop over to Pinterest for inspiration.  If I have a little more time, I browse through the challenges I enjoy.  Yesterday I needed a birthday card for one of the wonderful men in my life, so I took a little time to do both.  I decided to CASE this card with spots & stripes for the Male Room.  I found the perfect color combination at Fab Friday:
stamp sets - Tin of Cards, Gorgeous Grunge, Writing Notes; ink - Blackberry Bliss, Lost Lagoon: card stock - Lost Lagoon, Mellow Moss, Whisper White, Silver Glimmer; designer series paper - 2014-2016 InColors; punch - Itty Bitty Accents; Big Shot with Circles Collection and Stars framelits; Stampin' sponges

I promise, there are stripes on the medium-size stars - I used the Writing Notes background stamp to put them there - but they are hard to see.

Fab colours and a super card. I believe you about the stripes and think that goreous grunge stamp also fits the brief. Thanks for playing at The Male Room.

Really like the sense of vitality your card has from the placement of the stars and the splatters in the background. Great male card.
