Christmas fancy fold CASE adventures

Remember, I said I wasn't very good with tic-tac-toe challenges, but three of the challenges I follow posted them this week.  In my usual way, I took that as a sign that I needed to practice making choices.  I sort of cheated, though.  It's a bit of a long story but let's just start with these two amazing cards by Jan Tinklenberg: this year and last year.  As Jan brilliantly noticed and interpreted, the stamp set (last year) and edgelits (this year) just cried out to be done as side-step cards.  Furthermore, Jan's incredible cards just cried out to be CASEd, especially since there's a "folded card" challenge at Christmas Stampin' All Year Long.  Since there's already die cuts and stamping involved, I only needed to add glitter for the diagonal in Jingle Belle's Tree Skirt Tic-Tac-Toe - I could do that, and my choice was made for me:
stamp set - Cozy Christmas; ink - Cherry Cobbler, Tip Top Taupe, Island Indigo, Hello Honey, Perfect Plum, Always Artichoke; Stampin' Write markers - Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler; Stampin' Dazzle marker - Silver (retired); card stock - Very Vanilla, Pool Party; designer series paper - Home for Christmas; Big Shot with Sleigh Ride edgelits; Dazzling Diamonds glitter, sponge daubers

I didn't add glitter to my CASE of Jan's 2014 card, but it includes wet/heat embossing, so it qualifies at The Paper Plunge:
stamp sets - Merry Everything, Holiday Home (retired); ink - Cherry Cobbler, Baja Breeze (retired) Midnight Muse (retired), Gumball Green (retired); card stock - Whisper White, Soft Suede, Gumball Green (retired), Baja Breeze (retired), Midnight Muse (retired): designer series paper - Snow Festival (retired);  Big Shot with Homemade Holiday framelits (retired)

My final fancy fold card is CASEd from Brenda Quintana.  Originally I CASEd the card with Wisteria Wonder flowers as a Get Well card, for Card Buffet.  Afterwards I had one kit leftover, and I didn't really need another floral Get Well card, so I turned it into -- you guessed it -- a Christmas card, with more of those pretty purple snowflakes:
stamp set - Flurry of Wishes; ink - Blackberry Bliss, Elegant Eggplant, Wisteria Wonder; card stock - Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White; punch - Snow Flurry; Big Shot with Banners framelits, Basic Rhinestones

Wow, Kathe, you're on a special folds "roll". What a great trio of cards, and each so different, too. My favourite has to be the one using those wonderful edgelits. Love how you've coloured the sleigh, horse, trees and houses. What a merry scene!
