adventure with new stuff

I've been planning to make a non-Christmas card with my new Occasions and Sale-A-Bration stamps, but I've barely had time to unpack the box.  Plus, I got a sweet envelope full of surprise goodies from the Jingle Belles:
Just look at all that fabulousness - thank you Stef and Lauren!  As I was finding homes for it, I realized that I had Christmas card-making goodies in two different places and non-Stampin' Up!® stamping supplies in two other different places, so I reorganized my reorganized craft supplies.  Then, I realized that this new stuff was perfect for the current challenge at Jingle Belles - Bring in the New! So, I got some of it back out, combined it with some of the stuff I had rediscovered, and made this:
stamp set by Inkadinkadoo; card stock - Mossy Meadow, Marina Mist, unknown punch-out frame; ink - Whisper White Craft, Cherry Cobbler, Chocolate Chip, Marina Mist; Stampin' Write marker - Mossy Meadow; blender pens, Westrim mini pom pom
The mini pompom is from the same package I rediscovered during the previous reorganization and used on the Kind Koala's Santa hat, here, which was chosen by Christmas Card Challenges for their Top 3 from the Santa Hat challenge - thank you, ladies!  Since their current challenge is Anything Goes, I think I must link this adorable little owl there, and at Rudolph Days, as well.

This festive little owl is just adorable with his little fuzzy pompom perched atop this pine branch. Love the layout with the festive red against the green. Thanks for joining in 2015's first Rudy Day. Hope you'll be able to join in each month. TFS
