I have a friend who posts Thanksgiving pictures on Facebook every day in November, and I thought I'd join in a little this year. Sunday I found a song on You Tube that I linked to my Facebook page for her, then I found this on another friend's page:
But mainly, I thought I'd try to make and post one Thanksgiving card each week. I wanted to use the Truly Grateful stamp set, so I looked through some challenge blogs for color and sketch ideas. Paper Craft Crew has a great sketch and The Card Concept has a beautiful Thank"Fall" inspiration photo. Just Us Girls is looking for wreaths, so this is how I combined all of that:
stamp sets - Truly Grateful, Wondrous Wreath; ink - Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Sahara Sand; card stock - Very Vanilla, Sahara Sand, Chocolate Chip; designer series paper - Flashback; punch - Cupcake Builder; Big Shot with Wonderful Wreath and Bitty Banners framelits
The photo at The Card Concept inspired my color choices, and I like that the striped designer series paper and the wood grain panel echo the lines of the siding and the wheelbarrow. Since my card is fairly clean-lined with some "white" space but has many layers, I think it fits the Clean and Layered style.
