double creature feature adventure

I've been meaning to play along with Rudolph Days at Stamping For Pleasure, but I keep forgetting.  I made a special effort this month, and decided to combine it (I know that doesn't really surprise you) with Jingle Belles' Creature challenge.  In typical challenge-combining mode, I decided to incorporate several other challenges, as well, but let's start with the first card, and then I'll tell you more:
stamp set - White Christmas; ink - Versamark, Soft Sky; Stampin' Emboss powder - Gold; markers - Lost Lagoon, Soft Suede, White Chalk, Gold Stampin' Dazzle; Aquapainter; Vanilla Smooch Spritz; card stock - Whisper White, Lost Lagoon, Sahara Sand; designer series paper - Moonlight; Big Shot with Labels Collection framelit; Envelope Punch Board; Stampin' Dimensionals
This one is a CASE from page 18 (lower left image) in the Holiday catalog, for CASE-ing the Catty.  I pretty much made the same card with a different stamp set - I even rounded the lower right corners of the image and mat layers, but then I mounted the sentiment over the corner - oops - it seemed to fit there best, though.  That bitty little snip of designer series paper qualifies this card at Pixie's Snippets Playground, too, so I'll be joining in the fun there.

While I still had White Christmas out, I decided to combine the vellum challenges at Addicted to CAS and Around the World Stampin' Up! Challenges:
stamp set - White Christmas; ink - Versamark; Stampin' Emboss powder - White; card stock - Vellum, Lost Lagoon; Big Shot with Ovals Collection framelit; Stampin' Dimensionals
Addicted to Stamps is looking for CAS - I think this one will fit right in.

Christmas Card Challenges and The Pink Elephant are both accepting Anything Goes this week, so both cards fit in there.  And finally, since this is one of my more challenge-filled posts, and since both cards are scenes I created (no one said they needed to be difficult!), I'd like to join in at Pile It On, as well.

oh ♥WOW♥ missus!!! DOUBLE wow, actually, since both of these are completely awesome! the stamps are so totally tempting (not-very-stampy) me... just b/c you've used them to make two totally beautiful, totally DIFFERENT scenes! and then there's the polar bear embossed on VELLUM... total genius; and yes definitely a C&S masterpiece! you're rockin' the xmas, as always! ♥♥♥

had to laugh at "challenge combining mode" i do that too; the switch is either ON or it's OFF, lol! :) (HOW do the ppl who enter 30 at a time DO IT? i mean, even as a "retro-fit"... just the amount of finding and linking impresses me! i tap out at... well i think i did 6 one time?! (maybe; tops) :0
