adventure with leftovers

We do have some leftover food occasionally (spaghetti just last week), but I have a small selection of leftover card kits from Card Buffet classes.  When my sister spent a whirlwind weekend visiting from Mississippi and asked to see my Stampin' Up! stuff, I pulled out one of those kits so she could make a Christmas card, even though it was originally a winter birthday card.  I was inspired to assemble the last kit myself when the prompt at Merry Monday Christmas Card Club asked for blue, silver and white, with snowflakes:
stamp set - Best of Christmas; ink - Midnight Muse; card stock - Midnight Muse, Silver Glimmer, Vellum; punch - Christmas Ornament; Big Shot with Northern Flurry embossing folder; Basic Jewels rhinestones, Dazzling Details, Stampin' Dimensionals

I found another leftover kit from a different birthday card done in neutrals and converted it, too.  This one included a window, so it fits the keyword Transparent at Addicted to Clean and Simple:
stamp sets - Best of Christmas, More Merry Messages; ink - Encore Gold; card stock - River Rock (retired)
Since Danielle wants to see cards without red or green, both of these cards qualify at 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown.
