keeping up with Christmas adventures continued

Yesterday's card for my mini-challenge (how many consecutive days can I make a Christmas card) was soooo easy I almost felt guilty!  I knew I wanted to use washi tape for the Less is More recipe challenge and a punch for Christmas Card Challenges, so the Merry Monday sketch was just right:
stamp set - Tags 4 You; ink - Gumball Green; card stock - Naturals White, Real Red; punches - Label Bracket, 1-3/4" circle; Season of Style and Epic Day washi tape

I don't think I spent any more than three minutes making this card.  If I were going to "mass produce" a design, this might be the one - three minutes per card isn't long enough to be boring.  I didn't think I was going to like washi tape, but I was wrong.  As I'm looking at the photo, I'm thinking that red polka-dot strip is really a little too high, and would look better if it was positioned about 1/4" lower.  Since it's completely repositionable (evidently that's not a real word), I may go ahead and move it, even though it's mounted under the grey striped piece!

Since I had a little extra time available, I started on tonight's card.  It doesn't qualify for any challenges I'm aware of, but it is a CASE from Ann Schach's awesome card here.  Seriously, can anyone else make this cute stamp set look elegant, as Ann does?  I left off the pearls and went for simply cute:
stamp sets - Open Sleigh (retired), Scentsational Season (retired); ink - Crumb Cake, Real Red, Versamark; Stampin' emboss powder - Clear, Early Espresso, Pewter; card stock - Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Real Red, Wild Wasabi; designer series paper - Holly Berry Bouquet (retired); punch - Full Heart; Big Shot with Ovals Collection and Scentsational Season framelits; Brights designer button (retired); Stampin' Dimensionals

I can't seem to get enough of that happy little gingerbread boy - he just makes me smile.

Both cards are wonderful, 3 mins for a card is great. Thank you for joining us for Merry Monday this week.

I love the Washi card! My favorite thing about Washi is that it's prepositional. And there are so many gorgeous designs! The second card is so cute! You've outdone yourself! Thanks for sharing with us at Merry Monday!
