festive home holiday adventures

It's about time I finished a few more Christmas cards - there are not nearly enough in the "ready to mail" box considering that it's already August.  Jingle Belles are looking for "a card with a house on it OR a card with the word "HOME" on it OR a card that references building materials of some sort" - and it's not the last minute (although it is the last week) - so you have time to play along!  Here's mine:
stamp sets - Joyous Celebrations (retired), More Merry Messages; ink - Gumball Green; card stock - Baja Breeze(retired), Gumball Green; designer series paper - Snow Festival (retired); accessories - Big Shot with Perfect Polka dots embossing folder and Labels Collection framelits, Stampin' Sponges

The prompt this fortnight at Festive Friday is to include a candy cane - I pulled out more retired paper to recreate one of my favorite Pinterest cards from last year:

stamp sets - Chock-Full of Cheer; More Merry Messages, Scentsational Season (retired); ink - Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green; card stock - Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green, Very Vanilla; designer series paper - Be of Good Cheer (retired); accessories - Big Shot with Oval Collection framelits

Although I used retired papers, there are new papers available now - check the Holiday catalog link to the right - and some of the new papers may make an appearance at the Card Buffet I'm hosting this week (just sayin')...
