spring adventure

In Michigan we have four seasons, but they're a little differently named: Almost Winter, Winter, Still Winter, and Construction.  We have had some sunshine so far during this Still Winter season, but it's chillier than I like and there are no buds on the trees yet, or any wild spring flowers that I've noticed.  It's also too cold for the bees, although I don't think mine survived the winter :-( , so I decided to make some spring of my own as suggested at both Addicted to CAS and SUO Challenges:

stamp sets - Fabulous Phrases, Collage Curios, Hearts a Flutter; ink - Soft Suede, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Versamark; card stock - Naturals White, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Soft Suede; designer series paper - Blush Blossom (retired); punches - Small Heart, 3/4" circle; Big Shot with Honeycomb textured impressions embossing folder and Hearts a Flutter framelits; accessories - Calypso Coral Baker's Twine, Stampin' Dimensionals
I used the sketch from Unscripted Sketches, which I followed pretty closely (not as exactly as yesterday's), and the colors from ColourQ.

Oh, I'm so glad that you are sharing some spring with us because we still have over two feet of snow in our yard (this time last year we had our fish in the pond!!!)

The colors that you chose really do make me smile - the pop of yellow has me yearning for some sunshine! I'm so glad that you 'springed up' my day with your pretty card! Thanks for choosing to play along with our challenge this week at Unscripted Sketches.
