adventure with pink

I think I've said this before, but I don't like pink - I can't remember ever liking pink.  Well this week the challenge at Dynamic Duos is Primrose Petals + your choice.  I could skip the challenge, it's not as if I've been faithful with any of my favorite challenges, recently.  However, after I saw the new sketch and fabulous design team samples at Merry Monday, I decided that Primrose Petals with Gumball Green would be fun for a change-of-pace Christmas card:

stamp set - Joyous Celebrations; ink - Versamark; Stampin' Emboss powder - black; card stock - Gumball Green, Primrose Petals, Whisper White; designer series paper - Snow Festival; punch - 1-3/8" square; accessories - Whisper White 1/4" stitched grosgrain ribbon, Primrose Petals, 3/8" stitched satin ribbon
I didn't have any plan for a sentiment because I was following the sketch pretty exactly, but when it was otherwise complete, I felt it really needed something.  I knew it would have to be embossed to show up, so I bravely added "JOY" at the very end of the process.  I like it, pink and all - and look, no Big Shot used!
