new challenge adventure

I'm not going to try to claim that all my January adventures will be new, but there is a new challenge blog I found that looks like a great adventure - Seize the Birthday!  A clever name and a clever concept - two sketches each month, two cards for each sketch - feminine the first week and masculine the second week.  Fun!  I used a feminine color combination from Color Throwdown:

stamp sets - Creative Elements, Vintage Verses (Sale-a-Bration); ink - Versamark; card stock - Regal Rose, So Saffron, Wisteria Wonder; designer series paper - Twitterpated; Stampin' Emboss powder - Clear, White; Big Shot with Lacy Brocade textured impressions embossing folder and Apothecary Accents framelit; Stampin' Dimemsionals
I've already got ideas for a masculine card - using the same sketch a second time is easier after working out the details once, I think.

The white embossed image on the pink die cut looks fabulous with the other colours. I especially love the simple stamping you did on the purple card stock. Thank you for joining us at Seize the Birthday!
