adventure of being carried away

My name was drawn as a winner :) of four digital designs from Meljen's (woohoo!) over at Shopping Our Stash.

Then, SOS challenged us to rewind - redo a challenge, or use a Meljen's design (challenge 33)!  What could be more convenient (for me) than that?  I didn't want to take it too easy, so I looked through all 31 or 32 previous challenges.  I think there are 31, even though this is challenge 33, because I couldn't find challenge 24.  I may be wrong, though.

Here's what I made with a beast (challenge 16), one of the brand spankin' new (challenge 8) digital images (challenge 28) that I won (challenge 7):
I paper pieced him - no coloring (challenge 18) - in neutral colors (challenge 26) from scraps (challenge 6) of retired designer series paper on kraft (challenge 30).
hahaha - that was so much fun!  I just wish I'd thought to add a sassy/snarky sentiment (challenge 15) and tie it up with some ribbon or twine (challenge 32).  Ever without them, though, I think Andrew will love his birthday card - I know I do, and it made Tom smile, too.

How cool is this neutrals monkey? This is jaw-dropping, Kathe. I hope you submit this for publication. I adore your card!!!
